We left early Friday morning so we had time to stop at Cabela's, off Exit 42 (don't forget EXIT 42), if you miss it, like I did you can backtrack from the next exit. We grabbed a few things, all on sale!

The red house that you can see on the island to the left was once owned by
Margaret Hamilton, who played the "Wicked Witch" from Wizard of Oz!

A little Bean Counter Chowder for suppah!
1 can chicken broth (no MSG)
1 can tomato's with chili's
1 can each of Kidney, white beans, butter beans
1 can of corn
1 can of chicken or a cup of leftover chicken.
Crock pot for 1 hour, salt to taste.

Our Mission, to reach 1500 caches Saturday. We needed to find 12 today to reach this goal, we did! In our usual fashion, we snuck in the back way into Reid State Park. ($14 entrance fee HMMPH) There is a Snowshoeing series there, although we did not need snowshoes, it was a really nice hike!

Time to pull up stakes and head home. Sure was a nice weekend here! One thing is for certain, if you have the luck to grab this spot, you will meet new friends! EVERYONE at one time or another strolls by to enjoy the view from the point.
