Friday Arrival
Set up - the weather was picture perfect!
After several days of Heat and Thunderstorms it was a welcome break.

They came from far and near to enjoy a wonderful weekend.
Did you know? Wilgus won Vermont's Campground of the year award. There is no mystery as to how or why. The staff and grounds are incredible.

Tent went up in a flash at the co-host's Bob and Carla's site. Kudos to them for offering us their hospitality.

Friday evening campfire fun.
OK, I have no real explanation as to what they are doing, except having FUN.

Saturday morning started out cool and foggy. The day turned picture perfect!

The past weeks rain were quite evident by the massive amount of water flowing past, No Kayaking in this flow!

Saturday morning breakfast. Short order Carla!

The classes started with sketching, then to water colors.
As a whole the group dove in to the activities.
They found more hidden talent than they ever imagined!
Everyone left with their own refrigerator art.

Second class

Carla showed us how easy it is to quilt.
Again, the class was a blanket of enthusiasm!

Third class -  Digital Photography

Imagine my surprise when the entire attendance sat down for the presentation.
Rick Cipot, and myself
(mostly Rick) offered up some tips and pointers. Upon the conclusion, members were challenged to use the instruction to enter their photos in a contest. A few guidelines were presented, as well as a scantily clad model, chosen at random from the class.

Meet Daisy

First category

Members were challenged to take the life size, inanimate Daisy, and put her in a real life situation. A time line of 6 hours, give or take, was given. Everyone did such a fabulous job!

Here are a few of the efforts!

No captions necessary for these.

The Winner of the first category

Second category

Members were encouraged to think out of the box.
"Think of it this way, you and nine others are standing in a row, what will you do to make what you are all looking at different from the other nine. Now show me."
