2008 Rig or Rent

The access road in was mostly ice with huge snow banks. It is obvious they have gotten more snow than us flatlanders back on the coast. When we arrived they had 3 guys on the roof of the office clearing the snow in anticipation of 3" of rain forecasted.
Second Rig arrived before the weather turned.
Sure was a surprise to see Leon with his
new truck stop in last night!
Everyone arrived safe n sound. Ann and Eric drove past the Rec. Hall and did
not know we were there for hours!
Too Funny, as you can imagine we gave them a pretty good ribbing about it.
Don and family made it by 9, just as it started to change over to sleet.
Up for Coffee @ 6
33 degrees, wicked warm eh?
We picked up a new more compact electric oil filled heater @ Home Depot the other day ($23!) Heats the Peanut well into the 60’s!
Anyway, looking at the radar the storm split, so there is no telling what the day is going to do up here??? Dogsled races are here at the Campground starting at noon, hope it is not too warm and slushy out there.
We have a nice pool, just outside our door.
I think we shall call it Lake Peanut.
Donal is teaching Robin how to
snow board, Too Fun!

Walked the campground to see if we could find where the dogsleds were passing by. The amount of snow is impressive!
View from the Peanut, tight fit!
Man, did it rain! The foul weather never dampened our spirits or slowed the fun.
Is this a new member?
Got a great view of the dog sled race!
Good afternoon for Movie’s , when the rain started in earnest, we headed for the Peanut and Watched the Day the Earth Stood Still.
Around Happy Hour, we all found ourselves in the Rec. Hall, watched Ann’s Airstream Promo, then we put Narnia in while some of the Adults played Dominos and others hung out and caught up chatting. The meal was awesome!
After the meal we tested the Home made Lemmonchello, mmmmm!
Then we settled in to Watch the Long Long Trailer. Funny movie!
Let the season begin!
