Kayak Adventures

Christine and John took us up on our invitation to our camp in the mountains.

The early morning visitors.

Clark Pond, Canaan, NH

The day started out cool and breezy.

With all the recent rain, the level was higher than we have ever seen it.

This allowed us to do some exploration.

Cool turtle enjoying the sun.

Just as we decided to stop for Lunch I looked to the East, Not a good time to stop!
Within 5 minutes we were packing up to head out, within 8 minutes it was a torrent of rain!

23 miles from camp we found 3 lakes within 1/4 mile.

Lake Tarleton
Warren, NH

Heading West on Route 25C we came across the public boat launch

We stopped for lunch at a sandy beach

Lake Katherine
Warren, NH

Not 1/4 mile down the road, East, we found this!

Lake Armington
Warren, NH

Heading back, West there was a very small sign showing the access road.

Dan Hole Pond
Tuftonboro, NH

We stopped for a snack and to fill our hats with blueberries.

Again all the recent rain allowed us to make our way up stream.
Very Peaceful!
