Leak Repair

Found a wet floor, tucked in behind the vanity and toilet. There was a separate issue with a leak, through the vent. Removed the linoleum in the bath, pulled the toilet and put a fan in there for a couple day to dry things out. It was nearly dry and as luck would have it, there was rain coming. Perfect! After a day of light rain, the floor behind the vanity was damp again.

Here is a common leak path for the vintage rigs

Removed the trim by drilling out the center of the rivet in the trim piece, with a 1/8" drill bit.
Pull back the trim and see if the lower wrap is installed with the seam outside the Aluminum panel.
If it is, clean the two surfaces and seal, I like Par Bond.
Install the trim, using the same holes your drilled out
