Furnace upgrade

Initial test, set into place to see if it fires up and throws heat. Success!

Now for the alterations to allow it to be mounted in place with the original outlet configuration.
Installed the outlet from the original furnace, mounted with 3 screws to secure it in  place. Then installed a Tee to rout heat from the front to back, secured with a sheet metal screw as well. Mounted legs to fit up at the correct height.

After the stand and duct work was secure as well as a cover for the front vent it is ready to install

Ever so reluctantly I cut into the skin to allow the new exhaust vent to fit.

Tested in place. Good flow to the rear. Found that the second duct hose was a redundant hose to allow more volume from the original furnace. Slight amount of heat back flowed through this hose. I will blank off this line next test. Ran the furnace for an hours to test, bumped the heat up to check the thermostat. Works nice, very quiet as well! The original was way less than quiet! More like a dull roar.

Final installation, just need to run the wires better and re-install the stove!

Secured the wires and the furnace in place. Complete!
