1954 Romany Cruiser Floor Removal

When we first came across this rig we saw a newly laid 3/4" plywood floor. Typically that is not a good sign for what is underneath.

It has always amazed us as to what we find in these time worn areas.

It was not a master craftsman that dreamed up this floor repair!

After removal of enough rivets to peel the wall back to check out the damage that is visible from the exterior. It was no surprise to see twisted metal.

With the top layer of plywood gone it is unsafe to walk in the front. Just a slight tap with the hammer and the plywood disintegrated.

The frame looks intact! The wires on the other hand have several bare spots.

Stove is out, Sink and cabinet as well, the woodwork is un-restorable.
