Every so often I check various listing for vintage camper for sale. This one caught my eye as it was only a few miles from home. I made the contact and went over to take a look at it. The overall condition is good. After doing a thorough walkthrough we came to an agreement. I was fortunate, the owner knows where we live and has seen our other restorations. After a short tow home it is now been named Bogart, one of our all-time favorite actors who's career was nearing its end in 1954.

About 1/2 the original interior was intact and in pretty good shape. The original Sunray stove looks to be in good enough shape to restore. The Wet bath on the other hand is a mystery to us. No visible drain and no outlet for the toilet.

Yes the walls are Pink, and will not stray that way. The upside is we get to make it a color of our choosing!
It has an electric water heater and may in the end have one as well. The Romany Cruiser typically was made to be a "Park Model" Currently there are no DC fixtures, but some really cool wall sconces!

After the first washing. The exterior sure surprised us after scrubbing off a few layers of time worn grime.
